we experience the path where we place our consciousness

How You Choose Your Reality

In 1957 Princeton physicist Hugh Everett III proposed the Many-Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics (MWI). In contrast to the Copenhagen interpretation, MWI posits that the wave function never collapses and that all possibilities of a quantum superposition are objectively real.

You can think of the universal wave function branching into multiple states, or multiple realities. As part of the quantum system you branch as well, making another version of you. A very strange idea indeed, I know.

If there are multiple realities, why do you experience a particular reality?

The predominant way you “choose” your reality is by being an energetic match for that path. You simply flow on to that branch, unbeknownst to you.

When you choose, you are placing your consciousness. And by doing so you have the experience of the reality in which your drop of consciousness is placed.
